The Association was formed in August 2001 following the dissolution of the Channel Islands Ladies Amateur Golf Association.
The objects of the Association are to organise and run Island competitions for the benefit of all members and to promote Jersey Ladies golf and support Jersey Lady golfers.
The following golf clubs and ladies' sections are currently affiliated to the Association
La Moye Les Mielles
Les Ormes Royal Jersey
All Island Clubs are represented on the Association's Committee.
Welcome to Members of the Jersey Ladies Golf Association...
As a full member of a ladies golf club/section in Jersey, you are also affiliated to the Jersey Ladies Golf Association.
The Association oversees the JLGA Match play Championships (sponsored by Jersey Pearl) and the 54 hole Stroke Play Championships (sponsored by Chatsworth Property Services), the Ladies Seniors League, Summer Pairs and the Winter Stableford competitions as well as the Jersey Ladies Golf Team for the Nat West Island Games and the bi-annual Inter–Insular match against Guernsey sponsored by Prudential International. We also hold rules seminars and fundraising events.
The JLGA was set up in August 2001, having previously been under the auspices of the Channel Island Ladies Association of Golf, thereby gaining independence from our sister island of Guernsey. The Committee was formed from volunteers and representatives from all the Jersey Golf Clubs, and is currently headed-up by the President and Executive Officers and each club has a representative on the Committee.

Your club representative will keep you informed of events organised by the JLGA. We also have a website at www.jlga.co.uk which is kept up to date as far as possible with our activities.
Whether you are an Island Team player, a beginner, an occasional or regular club player, your Association is there for you and we would like to help. The current Committee are there to serve your best interests. Of course, most of you will have the help and support of your individual Clubs, but maybe there are occasions when the Association could assist you. One word of advice, do look into insurance, golf clubs have different criteria and it may be that your club does not cover you and we recommend that you have your own golfing insurance. Some household policies cover you automatically so do look into this.
Please feel free to speak to Committee Members at any time if you have a golfing concern or a suggestion to put forward.
